I was wondering if anybody could help out this gentleman with some info on this set...I am unfamiliar with this...
"My name is Tom Thornton and was wondering if you might help with some information about this checker set that I played with my Grandfather back in the 50's. The Checkers measure 1 1/2" x 7/16" and are orange and brown. The checker board has a JS stamped in one corner. There are 15 brown checkers and 15 orange. One other thing the checker board looks like it is made out of cardboard but has some kind of fabric over it, because on the corners you can see threads were it has worn and also where it folds. The board is a little over 1/8" thick."
