Perhaps most of you know about this by now, but volume 4 of Richard Pask's "Logical Checkers" series is now out, and available as a no-cost download at my checkermaven.com website.
Subtitled "Three-Move Expert: Balanced Ballots" the book contains a wealth of material, including endgame studies, advanced tactics, mid-game landings, and of course balanced ballots. It runs over 200 pages with many diagrams, examples, and illustrative games.
The fifth and final volume could be out by the end of 2020, and a mammoth combined edition containing all five parts, both ebook and print, is anticipated for later on in 2021.
I feel honored to be able to continue to publish Richard's work, and thank him for his amazing generosity to the checker-playing world.
