Complete Checkers: Repertoire Available in Hardcover

Post by chipschap »

Richard Pask's Complete Checkers: Repertoire is available in hardcover, ahead of schedule. You can download a free PDF from the Checker Maven website or if you wish order the hardcover from Amazon; it should be available by now in most Amazon markets. As always the price is intended only to cover costs of the project and no profits are sought or expected.

Further announcements will appear in the columns of the Checker Maven and elsewhere online.

The new edition contains hundreds of changes and corrections and represents a major update to the trade paper edition, which is not being updated and won't be in the future.

This brings the Complete Checker series to its conclusion with the pair of hardcover editions, which we think will look great on any bookshelf in addition to being the most comprehensive works on checkers ever published. It represents a lifetime of work on the part of Grandmaster Pask, who generously gives his work away in the interests of promoting and advancing checkers.

I have worked with Richard for many years now, and it has been a great privilege.
