2013 Checkers -- ICHF Annual magazine

The new 2013 ICHF Magazine (covering 2012 events) will be ready next week. Magazine is 246 pages and costs $25 (plus $5 overseas). Orders can be done either via Paypal at ACF Store/Periodicals,

or send check to ICHF in Mississippi, or to me at 34490 Ridge Road #115, Willoughby, Ohio 44094. The index is shown below. While I have not seen submissions from the others, I note the highlights of this issue includes SportAccord games from Beijing (Moiseyev-King-Kondlo-Borghetti) and Moiseyev-Beckwith 11-man ballot match, both of which I fully annotated. The PA select games have some good points, and the story-readers might like my lengthy travelog to Lille, France.

I wanted to mention that, due to WCDF presidency and other obligations, I didn’t get everything submitted on time that I wanted. This includes Lille WMSG II games, back-story of Beijing, and Bill Salot problem-composer contests, so these may appear in the next 2014 edition instead.

Recent back issued of the ICHF magazine are generally out of print, but more can be printed with a minimum order of 10 to make it worthwhile.
