Richard Pask's 3rd volume in his Logical Checker Series, titled Checkers for the Two-Move Expert, will be available at the Checker Maven website (checkermaven.com) at 00:02 HST on Saturday, November 9. (That's just under seven hours from when I'm writing this.)
This book, part of a projected five volume sequence, runs to nearly 300 pages and contains much new information, including all sorts of tactics, middle games and landings, endgames, and of course an overview and analysis of two-move ballots (as a stepping-stone to later study of three-move ballots).
As always, thanks to Mr. Pask's generosity, the electronic edition of the book is available completely free of charge. No print edition is planned, but at the end of the series we plan to publish a (very large!) omnibus edition of all five volumes together.
I am grateful to Richard for the continuing opportunity to edit, present, and publish his work, which is transforming checker literature and will leave its mark for decades to come.
