What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Fantastic to see young 'uns doing well and also to see very young ones participating in the lower divisions.
A great turn-out congrats to all participants and organizers.
I await JR's pics to appear in the NC website :)

cheers

Another great tournament, hats off to Mr. and Mrs. Davis who always do a fine job. Fellowship was great, people that don't come to tournaments don't know what they are missing, money isn't everything, it's these lasting friendships you make that are priceless.

I would like to reiterate what Jeff has said. Playing checkers is great but playing checkers with friends is even better! Although we enjoyed the fellowship of the people who were there, we also missed our friends who were unable to attend. Very nice tournament!

Guys thank you very much for these words... i think this is what makes people like us who live really really really far away... want to spend our hard earned money to go and participate. i do appreciate your comments.

I think the entry fees were 15 for minor, 20 for Majors, and 25 for Master
