Congratulations to Tim with winning prestigious event, John for tying for 1st place and special congratulations to my good friend Ryan Pronk for winning VA State Champ title. I am very glad to see Ryan back to checkers bbusiness and doing well ! It seems like I missed a good party this time :lol:

Congrats to Ryan, he played very well throughout the tournament. The points don't even really tell the whole story. This is probably the closest tournament I have ever played in. Going into the 8th round I think there was 8 players within 2 pts of each other. Lots of great games and was fun. Alex send me a message and I will see what I can do :wink:

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.
