Alex Holmes in Europe

Alex and I have talked many times about traveling in Europe to play in many of their checker tournaments, including the WQT's and USA matches. I hope this becomes a reality. We are working on trying to get his mother to approve of him getting a passport.

The Irish Open is in the picturesqe village of Carlingford on the shores of Carlingford Lough in a medieval village setting a place of true beauty by all accounts. So get Alex the passport and come on the 27rd -30th Oct 2012,you ll be more than welcome.

It would be a good chance to "cut his teeth" on some of the "old hands" in the Senior division.
