The 2013 Alabama & District 5 Open Checker Tournament was held in Haleyville, AL November 8th & 9th - Friday and Saturday at Imperial Inn Haleyville, AL.
District 5 contains States: Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee - District Manager: Larry Pollard
Frank & Mary Davis usually attends and Mary keeps score, but Frank has been in the hospital fighting bad case of pneumonia and before that he just had his heart defibulator put in.

15 Players, 8 Masters and 7 Majors, both divisions played 7 rounds of Round Robin.
