CHILDREN'S CHECKERS CHAMPIONSHIP
July 19-21, 2019 Vidor, TX
There is a growing interest for checkers in many countries around the world. This interest is evidenced in the number of children participating in clubs, organizations and tournaments. We, in the USA, must work to keep up. We that have enjoyed checkers for many years have a responsibility to the game to pass this passion on to the next generation.
Therefore, we are hosting the 2019 National Children's Checkers Championsip. The location will be in Vidor, TX. The date will be July 19-21, 2019.
We need your help!
- We need to get the word out to all interested persons. Build it up! If we build it. They will come.
We need sponsors! Money builds excitement. We are writing to major corporations trying to get prizes, scholarships and more!
We need players. If you can come down and maybe serve with us to host the tournament, we will put you to work.
The age for Youth will be 13-17.
The tournament will be GAYP.
