2025 TN Tournament

Post by Michael Holmes »

Hello everyone!

We had a great time at the TN tournament. Congrats to Jim Morrison for winning the last game of the tournament to win the TN ahead of Alex Holmes. Jim shows that he is truly a Grandmaster and is as solid as ever. I barely got two draws with him.

This TN tournament everyone used clocks. Most of us were not very familiar with how to set up the clocks but Alex explained everything very well and even those that did not use the clocks admitted we should have been doing this over a decade ago. You can see pictures on the ACF Facebook when they are posted and also on JR's nccheckers.org site when he will post them there.

I hope that future tournaments run as smoothly as this one runs; Thanks to Larry, his son, and Alex. I hope we all continue to support (and help when we can) the ACF President with his agenda and ideas.

This was also a great performance by the players! Well done everyone!
