I just updated the ACF site calendar with more info about this event in Hamilton on Oct. 20-22. Ken Shoesmith (kshoesmith@cogeco.ca) wrote me that he would like a headcount by September 20 of who plans to attend. This is partly due to locking in a block of rooms at the Ramada in time.
I plan to attend this event, as does Alan Millhone. They are offering a free lunch and many prizes, and at least $1000 prize fund.

Trip to Canada
Hello Dr. B:
I attended two years ago and had a fine time in Hamilton. My Wife shopped and visited around the area. On the way back we stopped at the falls .......... truly one of the wonders of the World ! Please attend if you can and show our support to our Checker playing neighbors to the North.
Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President
