I am back at home now. I had a wonderful time, Copenhagen is a beautiful and interesting city. I enjoyed meeting eveyone, as Joan and Ian Caws were the only ones I knew previously. Checker players are truly wonderful people throughout the world I think.

Thanks Sune,
You must forgive a man now in his dotage and, quite possibly, going senile. I missed seeing the games section which I shall now check out 8)

Yes the games where there all along - it is sad when the mind starts to go

Anyway I somehow managed to botch up some corrections so a new version is online now

 Lindus as old age is starting to set in I find myself spending a lot of time in the "here after"--meaning that when I go into a room I say to myself--what did I come in here after? Please have nice pleasant day. "Mr. Checkers"

I did just that very thing the other day. Went into a room and forgot why. Three hours later I remembered why

On the contrary Irma. For information on how checkers can help enhance one's memory I can do no better than refer you to an article written by Newell W. Banks who provided incontrovertible evidence on this subject. Unfortunately I cannot remember what book this article appeared in

That's not the age.
If you went into the room and can't find the way back, then you are old ;-))
