Clocks were available, but not required. I didn't use them in this tournament (never met Louis!), because noone pretended to use them against me and I also was neutral.

The only real longest game (several hours) I played against E. Bruch, where I missed a win in the ending and then tried for another couple hours, hoping for some miracles. Unfortunaly chances doesn't come together very often :D especially against players of Mr. Bruch calibre !

Alex how did it happen that you never meant Louis when there were so few players at this tournament. I would have thought that everyone would have been able to meet each other at least once in this case?

We never had close number of points and someone was always around to catch me ! :P In round 6 it was a real chance for me to play with Louis and we had a drawing of my opponent but 50 years "B" class player (and my roomater this year) Steve Holliday was more lucky
