I feel compelled to reply to Alex's accusation that Jan is dishonest. I disagree completely. Jan tried her best to make the match with Amangul happen. I have always doubted that Hoja had the money he claimed to have for the match; that's why he didn't send Jan the airfare. Aside from this issue, is there something else, Alex? I think Jan has done a lot for women's checkers. She always speaks her mind and has caused the checker world to take notice of us. And there should be some re-thinking by WCDF about the women's title. How long can one hold the title without meeting a challenge?

Thankyou Wilma and all the other decent people that spoke on my behalf.I have always felt that what happened to me was unjust, and the title has just stagnated since and will continue too as long as Alex and his mates continue to stymie and lie about what has happened.
The reason checkers is dying is that there is very little honesty in the game anymore, and no standards, which is a shame for us all.Thats why its maybe better to scrap a womens world title, the whole thing is too corrupt now.Ive lost all faith in the system

Don't worry Jan , most of us are aware of the whole deal and we know what happened and that you did nothing dishonest...

Lindus it was my idea but i would love for it to become true :)

Wilma unfortunately the answer is twofold...
a) how long is a piece of string?
b) does anyone seriously think the WCDF cares about this title?

Irma don't let it get to you.... we all know Alex loves stirring others and causing trouble.... if anyone has any doubts and they have a spare couple of hours they can read Alex Moiseyev's favourite thread (he posted a whooping 52 times in there....accusations, black humour, april fool's joke, derision x infinity, etc etc etc) they can judge his behaviour as they see fit the link is here viewtopic.php?t=1856

I am glad to see topic about Woman World title match grabbed more attention and interest this time. I willl try to get more information and hopefully some pictures from Turkmenistan. I also offered organisers to annotate games if they desire.

You are nowhere near as funny as you think yourself. Throwing mud without any substance behind it, accusing others of lying and stealing and then pretending you did it to promote womens checkers.

I can see right through your charade ...the joke is on you ...

I would have expected Moiseyev as world champion to be promoting draughts but it seems hes holding the "poisoned chalice" right now and has no support even amongst decent players for many reasons EVEN on this forum.

In fact hes bringing the game into disrepute and its time he has realised the OFFICE that he holds and the way he is expected to act. I hope he pulls back from the brink before its too late and the honorable POSITION of World champion is once again a thing to be looked up to.

kiwinurse wrote:Ive just read the dreadful rubbish that Alex has written about me on this subject.First of all it was Toyeva that approached me asking for help because noone was helping her in her cause to get a womens match going.
She told me(and i have her email)Hugh had contacted her just once stating there had been no bids for her match,so more or less she couldnt have one.She wanted to respond to the subject online after what id queried about it.I helped her by giving her Alan Millhone and Jason"s emails as she couldnt seem to access the forum.
In the past shes also asked me for help in getting study material and ive given her different sites.Im allowed to be angry at the fact that she was contacted only once(she says) concerning the match and it was all negative.Ive only ever tried to help her.
Based on my past experiences and being villified for TRYING to get a match going,i know exactly how frustrating and time consuming it is.Particularly my experiences with Hoja Durdeyev
Alex is pure poison and will lie about anything to further his cause, and he is a good friend of Hoja's, so everything he says is tainted in their favour.Well im sorry Alex, i wont toady to you, just because of your status. You should be ashamed of yourself, you are acting like a big baby that doesnt get his own way.
Since ive helped Toyeva, she has now been silent towards me,probably because shes been warned about speaking out,and told a lot of lies about me.Well im sorry, i dont live in the Soviet Union or Turkmenisten, so they cant shut me up. I call a spade a spade and tell it as it is.And maybe the powers that be in the WCDF have also pursuaded Toyeva not to speak out so she can have the match. To me that is a totally corrupt organization, if that is the truth! And its time it was changed!
Dear Jan,

Please accept my apologies for my late arrival to this discussion.

I was very saddened by the false and horrific statements and accusations that Alex Moiseyev made against you and your character. In my opinion, they are outright libelous.

Just when I was thinking that he may finally be learning to practice some human civility, he has proven me wrong.

In view of his chronic habit of personal attack and verbal abuse, including his most recent statements expressed in this topic thread, I am personally embarrassed and ashamed that Alex Moiseyev is the World 3-Move Champion, as recognized by the American Checker Federation.

Jan, you are one of the most honest and decent human beings I have ever known among all of the checker players who have ever lived throughout my lifetime. You have been a blessing to the game of checkers and to my life as well.

Your hard work on behalf of our game shall be forever appreciated by those of us who know the true honor and worth of your character, as well as by those who know the unfortunate truth behind the injustice and conspiracy that was inflicted upon you during your honest and most recent pursuit and participation in a World Women's Championship Match.

Please continue to fight the good fight and speak the truth.

You will always have my support.

May God Bless,

Dennis Cayton

Some people are incurable.... I too join the list to be ashamed that we have such a lacking champion as far as good human qualities go.

Greetings Sune:

I am honestly and genuinely confused by your statement above.

To whom do you refer when you mention "the rest of us?"

What "false and horrific statements and accusations" have I made against them?

I don't understand.

I am wondering if you may have misread or misinterpreted my post.

Perhaps, I failed to express myself with enough clarity to get my point across.

Nevertheless, if my statements have offended you in any way, please accept my apologies.

It was honestly and sincerely not my intent to do so.

Very Sincerely,

Dennis Cayton

Well I had a hard time interpreting your sentence "the injustice and conspiracy that was inflicted upon you" as something else than a false and a horrific accusation against the WCDF.

Wayne, I will be back to you with answer on this question and prove in email after match.

Not only I made a charge, but also WCDF made a ccharge and demonstrated what they think two years ago. I think her dishonesty was well proved two years ago and noone has doubts with this. People trully have short memory and every 2 years we need another prove.
