The Danish Open will be held this weekend where players representing 7 countries will battle for the title.

And a good field, expected to be a close race.

Unfortuneatly I will be at another checker tournament in Korbach in Germany at that time, but I will try to get an internet connection.

I wonder how Gene Lindsay will perform against the European players, and if Danny Oliphant's streak of tournament victories in Central Europe will continue ?
Maybe my friend Sune will also perform better than last year, and Mr. Clauwaert will certainly do better as I want to predict.
BTW: I also keep my fingers crossed for my friend Liam and hope that he marches through undefeated, as I am not there to stop him

Of course I also wish all other players that they will be succesful, altough my exprience tells me that someone will also loose a few games, but remember that you made at least more people happy than the winner of the tournament!

Internet explorer must be the latest version also?

The page has been tested with version 6 and 7 of Internet Explorer so at least those work. If you get the "grey rectangle of death" it is most likely because you don't have java 6 installed. Install from here http://www.java.com

I have tested the page with 5-6 computers so it should work

Anyway the final will be on in approximately 40 minutes
