Re: New Irish GAYP match Champion!
Shane, congratulations on winning such respectable title in very serious contest against world top player. I rated recently Hugh as UK & I player #1 unless Richard Pask is inactive, but now I probably have to revise my predictions and ranking
Pat McCarthy shadow is in air ! I wish we have more young Americans masters as Shane, but ...
I predicted this in private conversation after finishing Irish Open, and I am glad to see that my estimates are getting closer to reality. Shane continues consistantly progressing, and should be a Challenger for the 3-moves World Title in the very nearest future.
But we don't need to wait ! If Shane, his fans and supporters believe that he is ready to play match, Indepenedent Challenge option is always on the table. All you need to do - raise respectable match fund
See you in Beijing !
Regards,
Alex

Thanks AlexShane, congratulations on winning such respectable title in very serious contest against world top player.

It's a shame that we lost such a good player too soon, I myself have never had the pleasure of meeting Pat but from what I have seen of his play no doubt he is world class.Pat McCarthy shadow is in air !

It seems like very respectable and acceptable financial situation ! You are in much better shape than I am, where my balance is approximately half million dollars in debts ! This includes mortgage, college loans, credit cards and other expanses, financial responsibilities and daily spendings.S_McCosker wrote:current bank balance £13.33
When I came to USA in October 1991, I had $250 in my pocket: the Soviet Union allowed to take only $100 for adult and $50 for child (we had one son at that time). I was much richer 17 years ago than I am today

No, that's the "State Of The Union".Alex_Moiseyev wrote:... Is that what we called : "American dream" ?

that's the difference between communism and capitalism:
communism=
all r expected to be poor, but some r priviledged
capitalism=
all r expected to be wealthy, but still only a few r priviledged.
I have lived 39 years under capitalism, and still only managed barely to escape 16 tons.
But wait:
you r a poor capitalist, you were a poor communist, but now u r at least the best checkerist.
