hello everyone
Sorry for the delay on results 4rds today and we are playing. I will post all results this evening. As this tournament was to begin I had a surprise. Alex M stood up and spoke of me going to the schools and teaching my kids. He had took a collection for my teaching. All of these players donated to help me supply materials and anything i would need. With the 52 players here Alex collected almost $250.00.

I was in tears for I would have never guess he would do this.
I love all of these players and happy I have a checker family God Bless each and everyone....

well played so far everyone looking good. Nice lead you got there Alex.

I wanna give a special shoutout to the online players that made it to this tournament. Clayton Nash and Nick Addante you are both doing well.
You'll do better next year Nick!!! Remember that you have only been playing checkers for 2 years and you get better every week.

Teal Stanley suppose to be a winner of Major.

Nick didn't do very well, but it was a very tough Master Division. Also, in order to move forward and get some progress, he has to forget a few bad habits from online play  I played with him with clocks 8 and 10 mintes for 10 games (both GAYP and 3 moves) and can confirm - he didn't lose all games !

I am very glad to see Clayton Nash back to arena. After 3 (?) years disappearance his recovery was easy and impressive. 2nd place with no losing round or game ... WOW !

See you all folks in IL
I am playing checkers, not chess.
