A. Moiseyev vs J. Webster, Rd. 3, G2

White has man up here but position is drawn. Several people observed our game at this moment. John played here 24-20? and I've got a chance to make a shot - doesn't happen very often in actual play among masters!

It was my first checkers event after health problems in the beginning of October. From 14 games (got a buy in the last round) I won 10 and 4 draws - not too bad. Still making decision about my future in checkers. More prove is needed. My next checkers event will be 11 man ballot WTM with challenger T. Laverty. Tim health conditions also are far from perfect.

It was very interesting organizers decision which I fully support: before last round started, I was 5 points ahead of runner up (Tim Laverty) which guarantee me a 1st place anyway no matter result of last round. Organizers decided just give me a bye which is not counted for rating and don't force anyone to play with me. In my eyes - perfect decision which should be adopted in our state events.
