Ingo has been ignoring requests for these games from several people now. Not sure what is going on either.....

I need those games. If Ingo will scan the scoresheets, I'll type them. Or he can mail them to me, I'll pay the shipping. Can a package still be sent "postage due"? I would like to annotate them and publish them. Perhaps Sergio Scarpetta or someone else would like to translate it into Italian and publish that? We could publish the annotated games in the two newsletters, ACF Bulletin and Dama Sport (which I assume is their national newsletter).

It is probably time to ask players to share their personal notes and yellow copies.

Jim, thanks for your work. It is time to move forward and try to save match games and recover them. I personally encourage all other players from both teams, USA and Italy, contribute here and share text of your games if you kept 2nd copy of score sheets or recorded games in your personal notebook.

Lets do it folks and prove one well known fact: GAMES NEVER DISAPPEAR!

Jim, can you process games in identical (PDN) format, round by round ? In this case it will be clear -what games we are missing.

I'm working on it. But I don't know who played who in most of the rounds. So far we have games from:

Moiseyev 7 rounds
Pronk 6 rounds
Sokolovsky 5 rounds
Beckwith 5 rounds
Laverty 5 rounds
Nash 6 rounds

Scarpetta 8 rounds
D'Amore 8 rounds
Berte 6 rounds

That is actually more than half of the games, but we need a lot more please. Again, these games are at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4074.
