2025 VIDOR WORLD CHECKERS FESTIVAL JUNE 26-JULY 6 2025

The time is fast approaching for the Vidor World Festival of Checkers. This is a huge challenge for all of us to make sure this runs properly. Big thank you to Alex Moiseyev and John Acker for helping in so many areas. Alex and I butt heads occasionally but that what it takes to make it work.

The South African Team looks excellent. They will give the USA all they can handle. Both teams had better bring their A game. This tournament will be June 26-28.

The second Tournament of the Festival may be the funnest. The USA Blitz Championship will be a one day event on June 29. This precedes the USA Nationals. Please let us know if possible if you plan to attend. You can go to our Facebook Site and message me...or reply on here. The games will be short with a few seconds added per move. The best thing about it is the number of games that can be played on one day.

Also an added bonus following the Blitz Tournament we will have a welcoming meal for all attendees. We will need to know if you plan to come to this meal to be sure we have enough food. We will have a welcoming ceremony for the Nationals and some entertainment.

The third Tournament of course is the USA Nationals! The date will be June 30-July 3. The BIG ONE! This year we will have maybe the best competition in a long time. We have a lot of commitments. There will be 3 divisions. Cash Prizes. Trophies and a good time!

The final event will also be MAJOR. Dont miss it. The 11-Man WQT will be July 4-6. The BEST will be competing for a chance to play the current World Champion Alex Moiseyev for the World Title.

This event is HUGE!

It would be my dream if we could find someone to do a DOCUMENTARY on the Event. Would be great.
