What do you like about checkers?: I like the history of checkers and I enjoy the application of computers to the game. See ZoeZap.com for my program, "CheckerPlayer".
Curious to know if anyone has considered a computerised approach for generating aesthetically pleasing checkers problems. I know some work has been done on chess in this area. It seems like a non-trivial problem, but with recent machine-learning techniques maybe it's an interesting area for research.
