Here is an interesting problem I had experienced today, when came over some materials, cleaning book from bags and testing contest. See diagram below. This is famous landing in this opening, which arise after the following sequence of moves:

11-15 23-19 8-11 22-17 9-13 17-14 10x17 21x14 15-18 26-23 6-10 25-21 10x17 23-14 11-16 27-23 ...

This position happened in my game against Richard Beckwith in IL State tournament, 2003. Here Dr. Beckwith wrongly played 16-20? (1-6 correct) and eventually lost the game. When I annotated game first time, I mentioned that this 16-20 is a losing move, but today I had updated it in my book as "extremely weak" .

So, what do you think, folks - can white win after 16-20 in position on diagram ? :idea:

I think it can been draw but it is very weak as you said.

WOW ! What really imptressed me - not analyses itself(they are excellent anyway :lol:

), but your ability to diagram at the right, most important and attractive moment ! This simply tells me - you understand the game and where pieces suppose to move

Would you mind, if I include your analysis in my book with appropritae credit ? Did you use program for your research, and if so - which one ?

Programs also deserved to get credit :idea:

Yes you can use the analysis in your book ,i did the analysis with some help from Kingsrow 1.15q. that ending was very fine .
