F. Kareta vs C. Freeman, G1
In order to achieve draw in this game, white made a losing move and red missed a win. In position on diagram #1 white jumped 25x18? which suppose to lose if meet properly. After then game continued: 25x18, 12-16, 18-15, 10x19, 27-24, 20x27, 31x15 ...
See position on diagram #2. 3-7* wins here, but 1-5 as played in the game leads only to draw after 15-10.
White to move.

I. Martynov vs S. Thrane, G1
White played here 26-22? and lost by 9-14, 22-18, 15x22, 24-19, 22-26, 19-12, 11-15 etc RW They still had a chance to draw position on diagram by 24-19*, 15x24, 23-18, 10-15, 26-22, 6-10, 13x6, 2x9, 17-13, 10-14, 13x6, 14x23, 6-2 (or 21-17) Draw with man down due to bind of red pieces.

O. Kolin vs M. Bernini, G1
Very interesting, fresh game which had original instructive play in the beginning and middle of game and nice ending play. Actually this game cosists of two separate independent parts: before ending and ending itself and I decided to diagram each part separately with 3 diagrams.
On diagram #1 we have position from opening 10-15, 24-20, 6-10 + 28-24, 23-19. I already mentioned in annotations to other game that suspicious trade 12-16 seems to be untested to me.
!!! ATTENTION: 12-16 in position on diagram #1 is untested, I am Alex Moiseyev and I approve this message !!!
After 12-16, 23x19, 15-18, 22x15, 10x28, 21-17 we reach position on diagram #2. Kingsrow opening book shows serious level of advantage for white after 25-22 instead 21-17 and I agree with this and recommend this move. It is very possible that 25-22 maybe a slow win which kills 12-16 trade. I will contact later with Ed Gilbert and ask him (if he has time) to put an extra generator search onto this position after 25-22.
All after all, 21-17 on diagram #2 is missing an advantage and allows red to play here immediately 9-13 to almost equalize the game. 11-16 as played in the game instead 9-13 appears to be a slow earlier loss.
Diagram #3 has position where white last time had a chance to win game without complicated endings. 31-27 suppose to win ut white played surprising 13-9! and game gets an extra brief and longer life !

Now into ending sea ! In position on diagram #4 31-27 - draw, 31-26 (as played) loses. Red had to play 31-27-24-19, 12-16 to build a trade and white can't stop them.
In position on diagram #5 19-15 still a win by blocking red to crown both Kings and 19-16 - draw to due to fantastic man down draw coming later.
And finally wonderful diagram #6. 32-27? loses, 31-27 *draw ! You may ask me - WHY ? My answer is - I have no idea, only God knows ! But this is exactly what Kingsrow 10 pieces ending database shows. All my attempts to win this position by doing manually one or another move failed. Red always had some tricky tactical escapes.

J. Tichy vs J. Jolliff, G1
On diagram #1 red played losing 8-11 ?? allow white for extremely danger and powerful trade 18-15 which crashes all red bastions ! Waiting 2-6 with followng 8-11 was certainly way to go !
In position on diagram #2 correct was was building a trading column 10/15/19 and trade 10-6. For instance - 18-15, 15-10, 27-24, 19-15 etc. White played here 27-23 which is still a win but a bit more complicated because red can stop white building a trading column for 1-2 moves. However, after 27-23, 14-17, 32-27 as played in game missing an important, crucial tempo and win.

R. King vs Bashim Durdyev, G1
See position on diagram #1 after opening moves 10-15, 21-17, 15-18, 23x14, 9x18, 22x15, 11x18, 17-13 ... Here Ron played very questionable move 7-10 ?! which puts red on very hard, delicate defense to the rest of game. However I can't blame him for this because the tournament situation where his only chance was win both games didn't let him much choices. The main principle is - if you really want and intent to get out of PP - do it at the earliest move possible !
Bashim met it correctly 26-22 and after 3-7, 22x15, 10x19, 24x15 they reached position on diagram #2. Deep anakyses with program shows that the only weak draw here was still available after 7-11*. Ron played again 7-10 which looks natural but loses. However, in order to confirm this you have to look ahead for 10-12 to see red running out of moves as happened in game.
In position diagram #3 white last move was 22-18? which misses a win 25-21 etc. After 22-18 Ron had a chance immediately to take advantage on this and play 6-10, 10-14 etc Draw. hence!, he tried to win. After 8-11? on diagram #3 (as played in game) there is no scientific draw for white and red eventually ran out of moves.
Game continued: 13. 08-11 25-21 14. 04-08 21-17 15. 12-16 18-14 16. 16-20 31-27 17. 11-16 30-25 18. 08-11 25-21 19. 20-24 27x20 20. 19-23 28-24 21. 23-26 32-27 22. 26-30 27-23 23. 30-26 24-19 etc WW
White to move

P. Faleo vs U. Hydyrov, G1
Not an easy position for white who played it a bit inaccurately couple moves before allow red powerful 14-18. However in position on diagram white still had a draw with care of by playing 16-12. 32-27? as played in game finely loses as Italian grandmaster demonstrated this: 18-22*, 17-14, 10x17, 21x14, 15-18*, 26x17, 19-23*, 27-24, 7-10 etc RW. Nice tactical maneur !

S. Thrane vs I. Martinov, G2
In position on diagram #1 Igor first time mised a win by 31-27*, 13x22, 25x9, 1-5, 29-25, 5x14, 25-22 and red can't consolidate position bby playing 11-15?.
Instead 31-27 Igor played 24-20 and after several moves they reached position on diagram #2. Here 14-17 should drew the game but Sune played losing 3-8? allowing white to break red position and crown King.
At the end of the game in position on diagram #3, at 25th move (time shortness ?), Igor missed a win 16-11 etc and played 10-14??, 17-21, 14-18, 24-28 allowing red to free their pieces on double corner and get away.
