Nasty GAYP line

Never seen this one until the other day. Not in Basic Checkers, but might be published elsewhere.

11-15, 22-17, 9-14, 25-22, 15-19, 24-15, 10-19, 23-16, 12-19, 17-10, 6-15, 21-17, 5-9, 17-13, 2-6, 30-25? (actually a surprisingly strong move for white) 7-10 (9-14 loses after 26-23 on a 3 for 2 shot) 22-18, 15-22, 25-18, 8-11 (more natural move, but 3-7 may be better), 27-23, 11-16, 29-25 (at this point, the game becomes critical for red) 4-8*, 25-21, 8-12*, 31-27, 3-7*, 21-17, 16-20, 23-16, 12-19 forming this position:



Red barely survives here. 27-23 and 27-24 will lead to easy draws because of the red piece on 7, and 28-24 will lead to a series of pitches for an eventual draw.

The 30-25 move was played by C.F. Barker v J. P. Reed to a draw in their 1891 match.
At the diagrammed position play is given in Lees' Guide - with the 28-24 continuation given to draw.

Thanks Liam. Your right, I actually just found it in Lees' Guide under the Double Corner opening on Variation 7. That explains why I missed it, because I only studied the 11-15's from that book. Quite an old line!
