J. Morrison vs M. Bernini, G1
Famous winning idea in this relatively unevenful opening 10-15, 24-19, 15x24. Earlier in this game white played 29-25 which is already inaccurate and make it harder for white, but not loses. Only in position on diagram #1 30-26?, as played, was a losing move.
Continue from diagram #1: 30-26 (A), 6-9, 32-28, 9-13, 24-20, 15x24, 28-19 11-15 and we reached position on diagram #2. Bashim lost by 25-21 (B) 15x24, 22-18, 24-27, 18x9, 27-31, 26-22, 31-27, 22-18, 4-8, 9-6, 8-11 RW
A. 25-21 (or 32-28 first) draw after 6-9, 32-28, 9-13, 24-20, 15x24, 28x19, 11-15, 30-25* (30-26 loses), 15-24, 22-18 etc Draw
B. 19-16 12x19, 23-16, 14-17, 25-21, 10-14 and red shall play 14-18 and catch a man.

O. Kolin vs J. Tikhy, G1
In position on diagram #1 Oleksandr played anti-positional 4-8? which suppose to lose. 11-15 here was correct and enough for draw. However later Jaroslav didn't play it accurately, missed a technical complicated win and finally players reached position on diagram #2. Draw was still available here by 22-18*, 15-22, 23-18 with followng 18-15. Instead 18-15, Jaroslav played 13-9 and lost.

R. King vs F. Kareta, G1
In position on diagram #1 Ron played 1-6 which is in general is OK. However, he had much stronger and posien continuation 14-18* giving white too much troubles and forcing Filip to make some star moves !
Game continued from diagram #1.
1-6, 22-17, 8-11, 32-27 (26-23 draw), 4-8, 30-25? (loses, 27-23 was still a draw after 8-12, 23-16, 12x19, 26-23, 19x26, 30x23, 3-8, 31-26* etc Draw), 14-18, 17-14, 10x17, 21x14 ... and we reached position on diagram #2.
Here Ron played mistakenly 6-9 and missed a win. Sometimes this kind of trade works, sometimes - doesn't. In Lille this trade gave Ron most troubles - missing a win against Filip Kareta (though later Filip still lost game) and losing game to Sergio Scarpeta in late round.
After 6-9 trade in position on diagram #2 Filip played 26-23? and lost. Instead, he can still drew it after (from diagram #2) 26-22*, 19-23 (or 8-12, 22-17, 9-13, 25-22*, 18x25, 29x22, 7-10, 14x7, 3x10, 31-26* etc Draw) 22-17, 23x32, 17-13 etc Draw with long complicated play
Red to move

I. Martynov vs U. Hydyrov, G1
Igor played here 15-19? to draw. He missed an excellent chance to trap white pieces by 7-10* which leads to red scientific win.

D. Oli[hant vs S. Thrane, G1
See interesting and instructive position on diagram #1. WHite just played 30-25?. Instead this move, 27-23 (with following 23-18 trade) would be OK to stay away of troubles. However, in position on diagram #1 it seems like white still OK and no dangers on horizon ? Wrong ! After 3-7 with followng 12-16 against 25-21, red has 100% scientific win. Beautiful midgame masterpice.
Later Mr. Oliphant missed a win and finally game reached position on diagram #2. Again, it seems now like complete loss for white, no matter the move. And again wrong ! Sune still had a chance to secure here scientific draw by playing 19-15*, but lost unevenfully after 21-17? - important and crucial wasting time and tempo.

I will continue processing 2nd game of round 4 in next post.
