WCM 2005 games review.
Several months ago 3 moves World Championship took place in Anderson. Just right after match finished, games were release to Internet. Below are couple places, one build by Russian programmers using Turbo Dambase, and another one by Czech players, many thanks to Igor Keder.

Link to these sites also was placed on BBS, but unfortunately yet I didn't see any serious attempt to analyse games.
I propose to fill out this gap and do it here, on ACF forum. I also propose to use diagrams for any comments and analyses.
I plan to post some my analyses here later, but will be very glad to see this dialogue started and moving ahead. Usually any World Championship is hostorical event. It is slways important to understand what happened in match, why one player won and other lost, what strategical concept they used, and learn from this.
Igor Keder also marked with asterisks most interesting games, based on his personal impression.

Hi, Murray ! If you go to viewer of Russian programmers - you can see at the bottom of screen and viewer link to Download games in PDN file .
Please, let me know if you have problems. I don't have exactly PDN file on my PC, but I am sure many - have it.

I did/do have that file somewhere.
Actually the 2005 WCM games are available to view on this website as well (though no comments).

One of my next goals is to post the PDN for download for all the games that are available to view.
Should be relatively simple, but taking the time to actually code it is something i have trouble doing.

that should be the 2005 pdn.... you may have to use a right click and "save as" on the link to download it.

Thanks, sir !

I willl annotate this game fully in the next few days, because not only ending, but middlegame also was very interesting. This opening (12-16 22-18 16-19) is considered slightly weak for red, but Mr. King overplayed it somehow.
Red to move and win

I thought the same of the opening and Ron, but I did not try to understand the moves. I am not at the level for 3move play yet. I did not know you had learned it from a book. I look forward to seeing your thoughts on it.

Hi Alex i had a look and your games with Ron K....in Anderson and was pleasently surprised to find you used the Black-Hole line i published on irishdraughts.org in 01.
I think you threw Ron when you played 2622 b4 2419 and he went 710?? into a loss!! instead of 4-8 2419 and back into the pp line.

Hi, Tommy ! I am glad to see that our games with Ron in the past and recently still get an attention of good players and even mail experts

I don't know if Ron was familiar with PP and your analyses. Everything possible

But don't overestimate mine or Ron abilities and published play knowedlges

Thanks for your comments.
Regards,
Alex
