Diagrams in forum.
Here are various design of diagrams we can use in forum. Which one you like most ?
See below an address of diagram site, where you can build an image of diagram, copy it to image server, and then refer here in forum and display diagram. It looks a bit complicated first time, but after getting some experience, you will need less than one minute to bring diagram to forum ! Good luck.

Re: Diagrams in forum.
This is a good idea.
Thanks for the site.
I personally like #1 as it matches the other boards on the usacheckers website.
Someday i hope to include the ability to create diagrams(as well as upload full games) right into the forum (similar to how the polls work). That was originally in the design for re-opening of the forum. However i haven't gotten a chance to work on it.

Re: Diagrams in forum.
I like number 4.
It looks like TurboDambase and has decent colors and nice 3-D-pieces, just like a real board.
Number 6 lacks color , but it's second best.
Especially the Kings can be "visualized" better in these diagramms.

Diagram preferences on forum
Hello Mr. Alex:
I will come to the ACF Forum to learn more about the depts of Checkers.
It is great to have our World's Champion on the forum to discuss lines of play ,etc. I would hope others will get involved as well here.
Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President

Alex (shr?), Thank you for providing this guide to players to post diagrams. Thank you for the link as well. I am doing some database work right now for storing problems and their possible solutions.

checker diagrams
Mr. Alex,
Thanks very much for posting the diagram info. I like the colors in diagram #1, although #4 and #6 loook nice too.

Re: Diagrams in forum.
Rich, I am using #6 black-white design for my annotations to the 8th Intl book. Alan printed few pages (I have problem with printer at home) and sent to Gerry Lopez, who was very excited and satisfied with design.
If you want to use diagrams in document, email attachement etc ... you don't have to save it on server. After design choosed and diagram created (#7 in my instructions), skip all other steps !
All you need to do now ==> just simply put cursor on diagram, click right botton and COPY it, and later PASTE to your word document.

I like the #6 diagram looks old school, like most checker books also.

Re: Diagrams in forum.
Hmmm ... very interesting. My first choice goes to #1 indeed, but second choice - #4. I didn't seriously expect that #6 get so many fans It is good for book, but I thought it maynot be very attractive for forum. However my assumption was wrong !
Perhaps the reason is - #6 is has most "neutral design" than all other and colors not so aggressive (actually - no colors).
