Alan 'molasses' Millstone

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello over there on the BBS:

I found the above name change amusing. However I do eventually (make take weeks) reply to my emails as many of you know. I had not seen this posting about me till my old friend up in Michigan alerted me :-) My friend's email to me about the BBS thread was so cute I decided to share (sans his name) here on the 'busted boards' section of our forum.

Alan:

" I see some contributor to the BBS has renamed you Alan Millstone.

Now that is a weighty title indeed.

I doubt that such epithets will grind you down, but they much certainly go against your grain.

However, whether the Mill is honed or stoned is relatively unimportant.

On the other hand, it might be in the best interest of the ACF to have the Mill cloned".

Anyway the BBS posting elicited a delightful reply from my old friend up North ! I also still have copies of 10th. ACF at Flint and note several have been sold to our EDA brothers across the Ocean, thnaks!

Two names I have not seen for some time are Robert Maxwell and I am still wanting to chat with Kris Gordon of Georgia if anyone knows his location.

I also really don't want to sign any subject on 'busted boards' in an official capacity so won't do so.............................

Regards:

Hello Hans:

I just now posted your copy of the 10th. ACA at Flint 1939. You should get your copy in ten days or less. Did you thank me for that or for still looking for Kris Gordon

Millstone ... I like this typo ! I didn't visit BBS in the past three days and really glad to see it's attitude and atmosphere improved. In behalf of poster (whoever he/she is) - nice compliment to Alan

Regards,

Alex
