What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

ROFLMAO :D

I think the ACF should commission a Japanese company to build a robot to sort the threads. then again after watching "I, robot" i think that we cannot trust robots to follow the 3 rules of robotics, let alone to be trustworthy thread sorters.
Maybe we should employ a sniffer dog to search for checker content :) we could call him "Checkers II" , i am sure the republicans here would love the idea.

I better stop before i choke on my own sarcasm and somebody here has to perform the heimlich manouver

cheers and if i misplaced this thread , my apologies

Are those the new and improved 3 rules of checkers???

Mr Acker all i can say is to quote one of the greatest aussie films of all time ( no, not crocodile dundee! or "Priscilla queen of the desert"or "Australia" LOL)

"You are terrible, Muriel!" hahaha

Pal you did very well to find it :) it was a quote that to an aussie its obvious but obscure to everyone else
one of my favourite aussie movies and it had to be a comedy of course... Tony Colette and Rachel Griffiths got their big break on it.

the very best of the best is "The castle" released in 1997.... its so... australian :) that it has been voted best comedy of all time here several times

have a look at this link and see if you can spot a very young Eric Bana before he was transformed in hollywood :)
