Peter Faulk as Columbo plays checkers with his dog's doctor before taking on a challenging case involving chess grandmasters. I remember seeing this when it first aired, or perhaps an early rerun. This is on Columbo, Season 2, Episode 7, The Most Dangerous Match, that first aired on TV in 1973. It is now on Netflix, and it was a joy to watch all these years latter!
