I have not had any news programs on so this was a surprise to me. All 3 of my children attended the Neil Armstrong Elementary School here in Mooresville grades 1 thru 6.
I think it would be appropriate for him to be the first man buried on the moon, what do you think, fire-up the rocket?

...and who will pay? I think it will cost a pretty penny to get the job done.
I commented with tounge-in-creek but after a little checking into it I find it has already been done, so to speak, it turns out you can have cremated remains or at least a few grams of your remains rocketed into space.
"The space funeral industry is dominated by a Houston, Texas-based company called Celestis, which says it has launched 10 "memorial spaceflights."
Costs range from $1,000 to have one's remains launched into space and return to Earth, and $10,000 to have one's ashes sent to the Moon.
On offer beginning in 2014 is the "Voyager Service (which) launches your loved one on a voyage through deepest space, leaving the Earth-Moon system on a permanent celestial journey," the company website says.
The cost for a single-gram sample of one person's ashes would start at $12,500.
Some famous people who have had their remains launched into space include writer and LSD advocate Timothy Leary, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, James Doohan -- also known as "Scotty" from Star Trek -- and Mercury 7 astronaut Gordon Cooper."

Danny, I'm not much of a si-fi guy but when it comes to the real thing and men like Neil Armstrong there is no doubt about it, they had "The Right Stuff"! I know it all starts with long hours of training and preparation but it took a lot of nerve to do what they did and some lost their lives doing it.
I think a good ephitath to go along with all of this would be a verse from that old song "Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie" with an added twist to it.
It matters not, I've been told,
Where the body lies when the heart grows cold
Yet grant, o grant, this wish to me
O bury me not on the lone prairie.
I prefer outerspace!
Maybe you have come upon this ephitath which would be fitting to his memory...
