Ouch! I used to own a copy. But then I moved to Maryland, found nobody to play with and needed space, so I gave it and most of my checker books away. At least I think I did. There may be some hidden in the attic. With my bad neck and allergies I should not mess with the attic, but ....

I forgot to add that my copy was signed by the author. Surely this adds to the value. Anyone know?

One time Sixth buyer asked me to sign a book and I estimated this service as $2. The buyer was really disappointed. So - perhaps $2 is a bit high amount, and $1.50 or $1 would be correct.

Yes, I would say it was a little too high for an autograph. Albert Einstein was reluctant to sign autographs, often charging people a dollar before doing so . He gave the money to charity.

Me too! I and Albert Einstein are on the same page. I support (for free) two American kids, 8 and 11 years old.

Reminds me of an old song from the depression era:

Don't ask me what cotton is,
Don't ask me my advice,
Dont ask me what cotton is,
I only know its price.
