The BBS certainly does reach more people Jan. No doubt about that. I make no apologies for echoing your opinion, even though some among us might be agitated by this

I beg to differ there Alex, BBS was always informative and very interesting. There were games to view in abundance, but also human interest subjects.I loved the hillbillies, they were funny, even tho some people didnt appreciate that kind of humour :You know when i was over in the states i actually visited the jack daniels distillery with my husband, and there was a tour guide that took us through and he spoke like a hillbilly, but we never understood a word he said! And did you know that the Jack Daniels distillery is alcohol free for 100 miles around it, ironic huh.To me its not just about checker games, but the personalities that make checkers, and we all like to laugh and relate. i think george did a great job and it was the hub of checkers cause it was world wide.We are all missing bbs, and look forward to its return, hopefully soon.

As a scholar of many years standing who has had letters on a

multiplicity of topics published in numerous newspapers over the past

twenty-five years I have no need to reference "dictionaries" or any

other source in order to post here.
Your posts, tedious nonsense and infantile at best, should be expunged

from this site.
You are in the habit - and it is a bad habit for one who purports to

be so Evangelical - of making posts which have no foundation

whatsoever.
Thou shalt not bear false witness Ms Becky!
In you last post alone you spuriously state that I admit to being

wrong about echoing the opinions of others. I did not say that.

Those were words of your own.
Now, with all your pomposity. balderdash and sheer cant - be off with

you.
Incidentally, "Ms Becky" how is "Trent Armstrong" and the others who

frequented the BBS doing!!!
