What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

I do not envy the current leadership in checkers.... they are damned if they do and damned if they don't

if they do restrict these... (i'll keep it civil) people, they will be accused of destroying the future of checkers (how many times have we heard that fallacy???). if they in any way discipline or chastise them they are seen as authoritarian, old fashioned, etc etc etc

if they don't do anything they are seen as weak and indecisive... and not looking after the current membership....

theirs is not an enviable position at all....
the truth is unless we hold up certain standards the organisation will suffer even more.

I think the headline "NOTE" is a bit vague,if you were to repost this under a different header im sure it would clear up the matter.

Dear checkerfriends

the WCDF was wise enough not to use this general clause so fas if I am right, and the WCDF is well adviced not to use it now or in the future, especially for statements made on the ACF Forum.

I am not amused about the low standard of politeness on this forum, but not surprised as well.

My personal view is that of the former German President Johannes Rau

"Versoehnung is besser als spalten"
(Reconcilliation is better then to divide)

We all need to forgive and forget sometimes, and it would be time to do it now.
