What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

We live in interesting times! I predict 2012 will be better than 2011. One reason for that is the End of the Mayan Calender will give people world-wide a chance to reflect on what is really important. I really am influenced by
Arthur Reisman's home-spun philosophy on page 7 of Checkers Made Easy. --George Hay

Sune, let us hope you are right .... i agree about the previous year ( i am more scared of it than of Voldermort, saying its name might bring it back LOL) ....i await hopefully.

George, a great sentiment by Mr Reisman.... i hope he is right.... i keep slowing down, but not because i am a smart person but because age is catching up to me. ahahaha . I also hope Mr Reisman is right in his prediction .

cheers
