"Checker Trivia"---"Alex Moiseyev"
Alex thank you for your most kind and thoughtful words., In order to be a member of our staff here you must live, eat, sleep and breathe checker memorabilia. Its a qualification for the job. Everywhere you turn in our home you will see thousands of pieces of checker history; each with its own story to tell. And its those unique stories that make this job so interesting. So with that in mind here is a "Checker Trivia" question just for you my friend. Name six or more veterans of checker wars that attended the Pennsylvania State Checker Tournament during the 1990's--not including yourself? Some may even be in the "6th". Good Luck!! (Cont.)

Alex think tough old codgers, a piano tuner with a dixie cup--etc. There are several great names that you are missing. Maybe these fellows came there before your time in the earlier 1990's, but you rubbed elbows with them across the board on other occasions. (Cont.)

Re: "Checker Trivia"---"Alex Mois
During the 1990's we were privileged to meet some of the finest checker players to be found anywhere. The Pennsylvania State Checker Tournament drew the cream of the crop in checkers--each of them was very interesting and had many old time stories to tell about their checker ventures. Today chances are that such a strong group of players will never be found together again. Lets see who some of these titans of our game were (some have since passed away)--Ed Bruch, Norman Wexler, Les Balderson, Harold Freyer, Louis Cowie, Fernie Moffett, Tony Kozenski, Tim Lafferty. Elbert Lowder, Vince Delong, Steve Holiday, Wade Holder, Doug Hughson, Alex Moiseyev and Richard Beckwith came in later years. These were just a few of the fine checker players that one could expect to meet across the board here. I don't remember in what year Alan Millhone first attended this fine tournament. (Cont.)
