"Alan Millhone Retires"--the "9th"?
"When Alan Millhone Retires" (several years from now) and he decides to write his first book will it be called the "5th", "6th", "7th" or "9th"---depending on how many ACF Presidents came before. "Checker Trivia question of the Day". How many ACF presidents came before Alan and who were they? (Cont.)

"When Alan Millhone Retires"
I guess Alan doesn't have to be retired to write his book (and that book may be about collecting stamps) but that's another thing. Anyway, I don't know how many ACF Presidents came before Alan but I know Lester Balderson was ACF President for 17 years before Alan took office. So we have, going backwards: Alan Millhone, Les Balderson, (______________), someone else step forward here and fill in the blank here and I'm sure there will be a few more.

Homer Calkins Was the president when I joined the ACF in 1968, I believe that Ernest Churchill, Rudy Munzinger and B. T. Clifton were all president at some time before that.

I almost forgot, Emin Elam was the first ACF president and Ernest Churchill and Rudy Munzinger were first and second vice-presidents

Re: "When Alan Millhone Retires"
So far we have:
1st. Emin Elam
2nd ________________?
? --- B. T. Clifton
? --- Ernest Curchill
? --- Rudy Munzinger
? --- _______________?
? --- Homer Calkins
? --- Les Balderson
? --- Alan Millhone
Is that correct?

Re: "When Alan Millhone Retires"
Bob thank you so much for all of the research that you have done to answer this question. As it stands now Alan's book would be entitled the "9th". (Cont.)
