Good morning!! This fine tournament is coming up this weekend. Checker Trivia question of the Day". What is the interesting history behind this checker tournaments name? (Cont.)

Just a little correction here, this weekend's checker tournament is the Illinois State Checker Tournament, this will be it's one hundred first anniversary (101) Last year was the 100th anniversary of the Illinois State Tournament. The Illinois 101 Tournament will be in the fall. (October)
The Illinois State Checker Association does such a great job with both tournaments, these two tournament should be high on everyone's list of tournaments to attend. WOW! Talk about great fun!
