"A Popular-Challenging Checker Concept"--answer
It was originally defined to be an action that takes place when a piece-down draw is secured. This action is quite unexpected and not of the run-of-the-mill variety. Later the piece-down restriction was removed and wins were allowed. Later on it was described as a concealed and decisive action growing out of a natural setting and representing a "death blow" or climax suddenly and decisively administered and thereafter leading to the objective of the position by additional maneuvers. It was well described even later with examples of positions that did and those that did not have it. "Checker Trivia" questions of the Day?" What was the name of the checker term that we have been describing? If you were really good at applying it you may have even been invited into a very exclusine checker club, which was truly an honor to be sure. It all started with the publication of an interesting checker position--from which the club later took its name. What was the name of this very exclusive checker club?
