"Who Last Authored an American Checker Book"?

Post by Mr. Checkers »

 Over the years one of the major criticisms directed at American checker players was that they penned very few checker books. "Checker Trivia" question of the Day"? What is the authors name, title of the book, and the year of publication of the last checker book penned by an American checker player (before Alex's "6th")? (Cont.)

I'm sure you're thinking of Robert Pike, but actually I think Galina Golant's children's book is the most recent, though she is not really a checker player.
