Here is a somewhat obscure article on Checkers, or, to be more precise, MFT vs. CHINOOK, from GAMES magazine in 1995... I found this among some of Earl Hangen's books, and thought it made an interesting little piece of trivia. Earl had shown this to me years ago, and I forgot about it.
