"Our Northern Neighbors Checker Sets"
It is bitter cold in Canada this time of year, which may help explain why their checker sets are so well made, beautiful and last so long. Most Canadian checker sets are made out of wood as one might know since they have so many trees. "Checker Trivia" question of the day. What symbol is embossed on these beautiful Canadian checkers? I've seen Club Checkers with a Maple Leaf embossed on them, I forget which company made them.

Well if I ever decide to go away or be laid away then I will know who to turn this job over to. Pal if you have a chance to buy a nice set of Maple Leaf checkers please do so--you will be proud and enjoy them for many years to come. Merry Christmas (Cont.)
