I received this email from Larry Keen....
JR
Just returned from the wonderful tournament in Alabama. Hope you had a great time there. There was some interest at one time in viewing the gravesites of some the greatest players of all time. I have a picture of Basil G. Case's gravesite which I will send to you. He has to be one of the best of all time. He challenged for the world title twice. He lost to Hellman 4-1 in 1953 he lost again to Hellman 2-1 in 1963.
He is buried at Duncan Creek Cemetery (Franklin County) in Russellville, Alabama. Aug 26, 1908 - Jan 1, 1987
It would be nice if this could appear on the forum.
Thanks,
Larry
