What do you like about checkers?: I love how it combines simplicity with profundity.

HARRAH B. REYNOLDS
President of the American Checker Association was Postal Aide

Hillsdale, Mich., June 25

Harrah B. Reynolds, postal inspector, who was well known as a checker player, died at his home here last night. He was 69 years old.

Mr. Reynolds, President of the American Checker Association, was the last survivor of a group who played in the only two formal international checker matches--contests with Great Britain in 1905 and 1927.

He came here a year ago from Buffalo, NY, to live with his daughter, Miss Elsie Reynolds, a faculty member at Hillsdale College. He leaves a widow.
