The winner of this contest will be the one, who place last kind of trade on the Board and noone else can place new. All you need - continue posting different types of trade until we cover all of them.

You also can post more than one. No hurry. Fun and enjoyment. I want to start from this position (see diagram).

If you have problems with diagrams - you can type numbers here and someone will create diagram for you. However it would be much better if you just learn how to do this.

I'm not sure if I understand what we are doing here. Are you asking us to demonstrate how this position could have come about by a previous trade, as if we are creating the game from ending to beginnig? ? Right off hand I don't see a way for the position you have given us to come about by a trade but it could have come about by a sacrifice, such as this.

Or are you asking us to demonstrate a different type of trade, where as you diagramed an example of a "one for one" trade, are we to give an example of a "one for two" trade and so on and so on? Such as this position.

Pal, your example #3 is close and can be accepted (as overall #2, see diagram above). However - I think it's a different subject - JUMPS, not TRADE. for trade you don't need a man on 15. Maybe we should open a new similar subject: PLACE YOUR JUMP ? What do you think ?

Hmmm ... actually I had another idea - the winner would be the one, who place LAST position and noone after this can place something new However, I like your idea too - about awarding someone, who place more positions than anyone else.

Lets do two categories:

Category A. Placing majority number of positions.
Category B. Placing LAST position

I see this becoming a BIG JOB for you, I mean seeing that no one repeats the same position twice or repeats a position that someone else has posted. I'm sure I would have trouble doing that, good luck my friend.

Bingo ! I totally agree with you. Lets do not complicate things and do it one-by-one first. If our research will be fill - it will have some theoretical value too. I can't remember if ever in literature I saw all of them in one place.

This reminds me a famous quote from Brazilian team football (soccer) coach. He said in interview:

I just got off of the phone with our good friend Mr. Checkers, he's been watching our postings and suggested I add the "BEGINNER'S JINX" trade by William Payne. Every player needs to learn how to bring about this trade, we all know beginners sometimes find themselves in the situation of having the advantage of 3 kings against 2 kings but can't bring about the win when their opponents control both double corners.

This one will make an even dozen for the day.
I've always thought that a "man down draw" feels pert near as good as a win.
What do you think?

You right, Pal! Below is an example from my 3-move World Championship 2003 with Ron King, Game 13. In Sixth this is diagram #55 at Page 50.

I played here 29-25* 22x29 18-14 9x18 15x22 giving white some edge. After then red have to play carefully (he did!) and return man back at right time to secure a draw.
