When you the best you gota play the best... John Webster and Tim Laverty are in class above all others at most Tournaments including this NC Open. They know the 3-Move deck and been playing 3 move so long. No one else have the points they have. Having them play someone else would be just like strip miking 4 points for each so they would still be tied. Tim actually did the pairing and whoever was near the table picked the draws when the need arose.

Just an observation, but Charles Freeman only ended up with 14 points in the TN tournament.

ive read about it before in some older tournaments
where players who had the lead met in the middle of the tournament and then played each other like the
last 3 or 4 rounds thats why at some of our tournaments we ask to only have repairing at the last round
tho in this situation i think its fine

****seems irrelevent

You definitely have an eye for details... Twice you have found mistakes in my post. Thank You! I checked my post against the Mary Davis score-sheet & results which you can view under ScoreSheet http://www.nccheckers.org/NCCA/2008%20W ... sheets.htm

I got the positions first from Jim Loy who stated he retyped them, later the results & scoresheet from Mary Davis. All I did with it was link a page and attach it under the results. I noticed the ACFB has this error also.
