Hello Forum Users:
Yes I am fully aware of the members using the forum to list their porn sites, etc. This greatly disturbs me and I have asked our Webmaster to assist me in this serious matter. I figured from the beginning this would eventually start, I just did not know when......................
Please be aware that everyone might have to re-register under much stricter registration standards (giving your full name, listing your email, etc.etc.) I will have to see what Mr. Jason Solon advises.
Ignoring this problem will not make it go away, so we might as well meet it head on and find a permanent remedy.
Your input is welcome on this or any other matter that concerns you about our web site. It is here to be used, not abused.
Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President

Alan I agree with you 100% and probably re-registration would be the best idea in helping solve this problem.

Re: Filth on the ACF Forum.......................
I have made some changes so that the vast majority of users with these sites will not show up in the memberlist.
People sign up for accounts using with a programatic script so that their website will be listed on the memberlist. Some search engines 'crawl' websites looking for links to other sites. The more links you have on other sites, the better ranking you get in their search. This is the reason you will see a lot of gambling/adult/advertising sites sign up on these forums. They will use a program which automatically generates a username and fills in the web address.
Its very difficult to completely eliminate them. I've done my best to limit them to a very small number and i will delete any that get through. Of course if you really want to force users to sign up under their real name i'll set it up. I just don't want to be a part of validating the names.
