In this modest compilation I will show the strongest and hopefully, best lines of play that I have played or that has been played against me by the best Mail players in the World. These Tys include the British Masters, The World Playoff Series, Payne Cup, GB/IRE V U.S.A. and Welsh Mail Tournaments. These lines have been well thrashed out over the course of time and I also include games of importance which I have considered sound or play of a similar nature or play sent by certain individuals. This is my first attempt at publishing anything, so be kind!! Therefore, if errors are later discovered and no doubt there will be,i can only offer apologies, as we have done our best! Hopefully, men must learn to live within their own
limitations...including me!!/ And don’t judge the book by its cover as nothing can be learned from the cover.!!!!

It is of great credit to the likes of Dennis Cayton and his team on The Starship Enterprise who began this latest attempt to open up more play and by so doing gave others a platform to stand on. Cayton and many top pioneers before him have laid the foundation for progress once again and no more so than in the likes of the World Mail Playoffs or other competitive Mail Tys that in my opinion are the best arenas and will yield best results. Some might say we have enough openings ,nevertheless as a committed Mail player I wont be happy until as many as possible of the current untenable 3mvrs are open for play or, on the other hand, lines already open can be shown to be once again destined for the scrap heap. Such is the nature of the challenge.
