Re: Birthdays
Happy birthday Jan. Sorry I'm a day late, or is it 2? Hope you had a nice day. Hoping also that you get your match dates with Amangul fixed in time for the cheaper flights. I know Hugh is doing the best he can. John.

How do you celebrate in New Zealand? Cake and 29 candles? I hope you had a great birthday.

Thankyou John for your good wishes.Hugh can try as hard as he likes, and im not disputing that he is,but if Mohamned wont come to the party its a gigantic waste of time.
Re: Birthdays
Palomino its so nice to see you on here, hope you are well and recovered from your ordeal. We usually celebrate with cake and candles,i spent my birthday time with my family and beautiful grandchildren, and in the afternoon worked very hard until about 12 midnite, then came home with aching feet lol

Re: Birthdays
To everyone who congratulated me with 50-th anniversary on February 19 - many thanks for very warm, kind words in this hardest time in my life: passing a half of century.
Unfortunately, none of those voices came from Anglo-American Checkers fraternity, which is a bit pity but explainable and don't surprise me at all.

If you memorize this simple fact - any time when you think about Universe, my name shall come to your mindAlex_Moiseyev wrote:My birthday is on the same day as Nicolas Copernicus birthday, who was born in 1473 and was a first astronomer to formulate a scientifically based heliocentric cosmology that displaced the Earth from the center of the universe.
